How it works

Built for firms that pour concrete and lay pipe — not for procurement departments. Ten minutes to set up, zero software to learn.

1

Tell us your firm once

A ten-minute intake: your trades, your service area, your certifications (SWaM, small, micro), and the jobs you never want to see again.

2

We scan Virginia nightly

Every open solicitation on Virginia eVA — state agencies, counties, cities, school districts, water authorities — checked, deduped, and deadline-verified against the source of record.

3

Your matches arrive by 7 AM

A short email: the bids that fit, each with a fit score, the reason it matched, days left to bid, and a link straight to the official posting. Nothing else. No portal to log into.

Questions

Where do the bids come from?

Virginia eVA, the Commonwealth's official procurement portal — state agencies, universities, counties, cities, towns, school districts, and authorities — refreshed nightly, plus federal award data for context on who wins this work. Every match links back to the official posting, which is always the source of record.

How is this different from Deltek GovWin or Bloomberg?

Price and shape. They sell per-seat dashboards to enterprise teams. GovBid is a flat monthly rate for the matched data itself — an email digest for contractors, an API for tools — with the price published on this page and signup that takes two minutes, not a sales cycle.

Which trades and areas do you cover?

Construction and trades across Virginia: site work, utilities, paving, grading, highway, and construction-related professional services. Your digest is filtered to your service area, so a Winchester firm doesn't wade through Virginia Beach work.

How do the fit scores work?

Rule-based, not a black box: trade keywords, service-area match, your certifications against a solicitation's set-aside terms, and days left to bid. Every score prints its reasons on the match line, so you can judge it yourself in seconds.

Can I cancel?

Anytime, in two clicks from your Stripe receipt or by replying to any digest. No contract, no retention call. Your founding rate is locked while you stay subscribed.
