GovBid is a subscription service that compiles Virginia public procurement listings — primarily from Virginia eVA, the Commonwealth's official procurement portal — and delivers them to subscribers as a matched daily email digest and, for API tiers, as machine-readable data. Matches are scored against the trades, service area, and certifications you give us at intake.
Our listings are compiled from public postings. The official posting is always the source of record and controls in case of any difference: verify deadlines, requirements, and documents against the official posting before acting on a listing. Data is provided "as is," without guarantee of completeness or accuracy. We refresh the data nightly and correct errors as we find them.
The Digest is $99 per month, billed through Stripe, and renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel anytime by replying to any GovBid email or through your Stripe receipt; access continues through the end of the paid period. The founding rate is locked for as long as your subscription stays continuously active. API tiers are provisioned by request and billed through Stripe once access is provisioned.
Separately, we offer free 14-day pilots by invitation. Pilots are onboarded by hand and require no card. A pilot is not a subscription; it converts to a subscription only if you choose to subscribe.
The data we deliver is for your firm's own bidding and business use. Do not resell or redistribute the dataset, and do not share your API key.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid GovBid in the month before the claim arose. We are not liable for bid outcomes, including missed deadlines or unsuccessful proposals.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new effective date.
